📋 Description

• • As a Software Engineer I - Backend at CDW Corporation, you will contribute to maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs served by a Flask application running in a containerized AWS workload, directly supporting the delivery of quality services to customers and enabling product teams to build upon a scalable platform.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining production code for APIs, integrating with services like AWS, Okta, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and New Relic, participating in CI/CD processes, conducting code reviews, writing tests, documenting systems, collaborating with senior engineers, advising on technical feasibility, enforcing security controls, and supporting internal teams with technical guidance.
• • You will join the Mission team within CDW’s Product Development organization, a group focused on building internal platforms that improve operational efficiency and customer value across the enterprise, working in a collaborative, remote-first environment that emphasizes trust, connection, and commitment.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in backend development, cloud-native architectures, API design, and DevOps practices while gaining hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Python, and modern testing frameworks, positioning you for growth into more advanced engineering or leadership roles.
