As a key member of our dedicated Strength & Conditioning (S&C) team, you will be instrumental in architecting and optimizing this critical system, ensuring its robust performance and scalability to meet the demands of our expanding customer base.
• • This role offers significant impact and high visibility within a lean, agile team. Your contributions will directly influence the efficiency and performance of our platform as it scales. You will be at the forefront of evolving our architecture, a crucial task that will support substantial customer growth within your first six months. If you are passionate about tackling complex scaling challenges, delving into database optimization, and taking ownership of features from inception to deployment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this position is ideally suited for you.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to own and deliver scalable features across our modern technology stack, which includes TypeScript, React, and Node.js. This involves not just writing code, but deeply understanding the entire lifecycle of a feature, ensuring it is robust, performant, and maintainable.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve driving database-level performance improvements. This includes meticulous optimization of relational data models and queries. Your expertise in this area will be critical to supporting the rapid user growth we are experiencing and projecting. You will be tasked with ensuring our data infrastructure can handle increasing loads without compromising speed or reliability.
• • You will directly contribute to the scaling of the S&C platform, with a specific target of supporting over 180,000 users within your first six months. Looking further ahead, your work will be essential in scaling the platform to accommodate more than 350,000 users over time. This ambitious goal requires innovative thinking and a commitment to building resilient systems.
• • You will be involved in architecting and enhancing our backend systems. This entails designing solutions that can effectively support high-volume workloads and adapt to the evolving needs of our diverse customer base. Your architectural decisions will have a lasting impact on the platform's future capabilities.
• • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with fellow engineers and product managers, engaging in the design and development process to ship impactful improvements.
