• • As a Software Engineer II (Fullstack) based in India, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling secure, high-performance public-facing APIs. This is a backend-focused role with a strong emphasis on developing robust services that form the backbone of our innovative platform.
• • You will be instrumental in architecting and implementing scalable backend systems using a modern technology stack, including Python, FastAPI, Celery, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production environments, ensuring a seamless experience for our users and partners.
• • This position demands a deep understanding of engineering fundamentals, exceptional API design expertise, and proven experience in building and managing distributed systems. While the primary focus is backend development, exposure to frontend technologies will be a significant advantage, allowing for a more holistic understanding and contribution to our product development lifecycle.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve the end-to-end lifecycle of public-facing RESTful APIs. This includes designing intuitive and efficient API structures, developing them with clean, modular, and thoroughly testable code, and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and maintainability.
• • You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing asynchronous task processing using Celery, enabling our systems to handle background jobs efficiently and without impacting the performance of real-time API requests. This is crucial for maintaining a responsive and high-throughput platform.
• • A key aspect of this role involves designing, optimizing, and maintaining our PostgreSQL databases. You will be expected to craft efficient schemas, write performant queries, and leverage indexing and transaction management to ensure data integrity and speed.
• • Deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications on AWS will be a core part of your duties. You will gain hands-on experience with various AWS services, ensuring our infrastructure is robust, cost-effective, and can scale to meet growing demand.
• • Ensuring the security of our APIs is paramount. This includes implementing robust authentication and authorization mechanisms, defining clear API versioning strategies, and implementing rate limiting to protect our services from abuse and ensure fair usage.
• • You will be a champion for observability, implementing comprehensive logging, metrics, and tracing solutions to provide deep insights into system behavior, enabling proactive issue detection and rapid resolution.
• • Writing comprehensive unit and integration tests will be a standard practice, ensuring the quality and reliability of your code. You will also be responsible for creating clear and concise technical documentation to support development and operational efforts.
