📋 Description

• • As a Software Engineer III on the Device Software team at Flock Safety, you will build the intelligence behind a 100,000+ device headless fleet that operates 24/7 in the real world, directly contributing to crime prevention and community safety through real-time intelligence from license plate recognition (LPR) systems.
• • Day to day, you will develop and ship Android native applications and services in Kotlin on custom hardware, optimize image pipelines, integrate on-device machine learning, debug complex system issues using Android debugging tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and scalability of Flock’s safety technology platform.
