• • Shape the future of AI quality at Dataiku, the Universal AI Platform trusted by 600+ enterprises worldwide. As a Software Engineer in Test, you will architect and scale the automated quality backbone that keeps our no-, low-, and full-code AI platform rock-solid for data scientists, analysts, and engineers building mission-critical analytics, models, and agents.
• • Own end-to-end test strategy for new AI-centric features—from data ingestion pipelines to model-deployment workflows—ensuring every release meets the reliability bar of Fortune-500 production environments.
• • Design and implement high-performance test frameworks in Python, Java, or Scala that run 10,000+ nightly tests across micro-services, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• • Embed with cross-functional squads (Product, ML Engineering, DevOps) to shift quality left: write contract tests for REST/GraphQL APIs, property-based tests for probabilistic ML code, and visual regression tests for our React/TypeScript front-end.
• • Build chaos-engineering suites that inject latency, node failures, and dataset drift into AI pipelines, validating resilience before customers ever see a hiccup.
• • Instrument observability hooks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana) so that every test failure delivers actionable traces, metrics, and logs within 60 seconds.
• • Champion a culture of test-driven development by coaching 150+ engineers on best practices, reviewing PRs for testability, and curating an internal quality playbook.
• • Automate release gates with Jenkins/GitHub Actions, enabling daily canary deployments to 50+ customer tenants with zero-downtime blue/green rollbacks.
• • Leverage Dataiku’s own platform to create synthetic datasets and self-healing test cases that adapt when upstream schemas evolve.
• • Partner with Field Engineering to reproduce and regression-test customer escalations, turning critical bugs into permanent fixtures in the test suite.
• • Contribute to open-source testing tools (e.g., pytest, Testcontainers) and publish technical blogs that position Dataiku as a thought leader in AI quality.
• • Measure what matters: reduce mean-time-to-detect (MTTD) defects from hours to minutes and cut escaped-bug rate by 30% year-over-year.
