📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer on the North for Finance team at Cohere, you will design, build, ship, and maintain customer-facing workflows and agentic automations that transform complex financial processes through intelligent automation.
• You will own features end-to-end—from technical design through implementation, testing, launch, and iteration—while collaborating closely with Product, UX, ML, and Sales teams to validate requirements and prototype quickly.
• You will work directly with finance domain customers to develop custom interfaces that integrate with financial data sources and enterprise tools, extending the core agentic platform with finance-specific capabilities like data isolation, structured-data manipulation, and collaborative governance.
• You will make technical decisions balancing speed, quality, and user needs, maintain alignment with the product roadmap, and use AI actively in your work while remaining accountable for system reliability and security.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in full-stack product engineering
• Experience building, shipping, and operating production software used by thousands of users
• Strong product judgment, attention to detail, and deep care for end-user needs
• Ability to excel in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and objectives
• High agency: learns quickly and drives change without waiting for perfect instructions
• Curiosity to identify, troubleshoot, and fix issues across system boundaries
• Ability to clearly document and track architectural proposals and technical decisions
• Excitement to use AI while staying directly accountable for the systems you build
