📋 Description
- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and migration in production-like environments.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications that define coding challenges and expected outcomes for AI training datasets.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for accuracy, clarity, realism, and alignment with production standards.
- • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes in code submissions to improve the quality of AI training data.
- • Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference implementations, and expected outputs to maintain consistency in AI model evaluation.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to assess real-world software engineering challenges.
- • Participate in code reviews and refactoring exercises to simulate real-world development workflows used by engineering teams.
- • Contribute to production migrations by designing realistic scenarios that reflect actual system upgrades or architectural changes.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-realistic coding tasks that accurately represent the complexity of software engineering work in industry settings.
- • Provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions to help refine AI evaluation criteria and improve model performance.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce clear, grammatically correct specifications and feedback.
- • Work on a project-based, part-time basis with full control over schedule and workload.
- • Use personal tools and infrastructure; no company-provided equipment is provided.
- • May concurrently provide services to other vendors or employers, provided those arrangements do not conflict with project requirements.
- • Receive payment on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated time to complete each task.
- • Engage exclusively in software engineering evaluation tasks, including task creation, code review, and validation artifact generation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
