📋 Description
- • Design and implement multi-file software engineering tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and migration in production-like environments.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications that define coding challenges and expected outcomes for AI training purposes.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and robustness.
- • Create realistic, production-grade reference implementations in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and optionally Java, C#, or Go to serve as ground truth for AI model evaluation.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment between specifications and code outputs.
- • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, logical flaws, and potential failure modes in both task designs and peer submissions.
- • Ensure strict consistency between task specifications, reference code, and expected behavioral outputs across all dimensions of the coding challenge.
- • Contribute to the creation of high-quality, realistic software engineering datasets used to train and evaluate advanced AI systems.
- • Operate independently as a project-based consultant with full control over schedule, tools, and workflow.
- • Deliver structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions that highlights technical strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- • Work remotely on a part-time, project-based engagement with no fixed hours or mandatory availability.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce accurate, unambiguous technical documentation and feedback.
- • Navigate and analyze large, complex multi-file codebases to assess quality, structure, and adherence to best practices.
- • Participate in code review cycles, refactoring evaluations, and production migration assessments as part of task design and peer review.
- • Ensure all deliverables meet production standards for code quality, test coverage, and documentation clarity.
- • Simultaneously provide services to other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements do not conflict with project requirements or confidentiality obligations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
