- • Design and implement multi-file software engineering tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and test generation in production-like environments.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately define coding challenges and expected outcomes.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and edge case handling.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specifications, identifying ambiguities, edge cases, and potential failure modes.
- • Ensure strict consistency between task specifications, reference code, and expected outputs to maintain high-quality evaluation standards for AI training datasets.
- • Navigate and analyze large, complex multi-file codebases to assess code quality, architecture, and maintainability in real-world software systems.
- • Perform code reviews and provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions to improve task quality and educational value for AI models.
- • Contribute to the creation of production-realistic coding scenarios that simulate actual software engineering workflows encountered in industry settings.
- • Independently manage project timelines and deliverables as a part-time, project-based consultant with full control over scheduling and workload.
- • Work remotely with no fixed hours, using personal tools and infrastructure to complete assigned tasks on a per-project payment basis.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce technically accurate, well-structured documentation and feedback.
- • Collaborate with a global team of software engineering experts to continuously refine the quality and diversity of AI training materials.
- • Participate in production migrations and code refactoring exercises that reflect real-world modernization efforts in enterprise software systems.
- • Ensure all deliverables meet rigorous standards for accuracy, completeness, and realism to support advanced AI model training in software engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
