📋 Description
- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and test generation for AI training datasets.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications that define coding problems and their expected outcomes, ensuring alignment with real-world software engineering scenarios.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and edge case handling.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for accuracy, clarity, realism, and adherence to production standards, identifying ambiguities, logical flaws, and potential failure modes.
- • Provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions, evaluating code quality, design decisions, and test coverage completeness.
- • Navigate and analyze large, complex multi-file codebases to simulate realistic software engineering challenges encountered in production environments.
- • Refactor existing codebases to improve maintainability, readability, and performance while preserving functional integrity.
- • Migrate legacy code components to modern architectures or frameworks, ensuring backward compatibility and minimal disruption.
- • Create reference implementations that serve as correct, high-quality solutions to the coding tasks designed, demonstrating best practices in software engineering.
- • Ensure all deliverables — specifications, code, and tests — are consistent, well-documented, and aligned with expected outputs for AI model training purposes.
- • Work independently on a project-based, part-time basis with full control over schedule and workflow, while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
- • Collaborate asynchronously with a global team of engineers and evaluators, delivering outputs that meet strict quality benchmarks for AI training applications.
- • Use professional-grade development tools of your choice; no company-provided hardware or software is provided.
- • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, subject to the terms and allowances of other vendors or employers you may work with.
- • Receive payment on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated task complexity and completion time.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
