📋 Description
- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and test generation in production-like environments.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications that define coding challenges and their expected outcomes.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specifications.
- • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes in coding scenarios to improve task quality and robustness.
- • Ensure strict alignment between natural-language specifications, reference implementations, and expected outputs.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex multi-file codebases to validate task feasibility and correctness.
- • Participate in code reviews and refactoring exercises to enhance code quality and maintainability of generated tasks.
- • Contribute to production migrations by designing realistic scenarios that simulate real-world system upgrades or transitions.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-realistic coding tasks that accurately reflect challenges faced by professional software engineers.
- • Provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- • Maintain consistent quality standards across all deliverables, ensuring tasks are scalable, reproducible, and pedagogically sound.
- • Work independently on a project-based, part-time basis with full control over schedule and workflow.
- • Use own tools and infrastructure; no company-provided equipment or software is provided.
- • Collaborate asynchronously with a global team of software engineering experts to evaluate and refine AI training datasets.
- • May simultaneously engage with other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements comply with their respective policies.
- • Receive payment on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated time to complete each task.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
