📋 Description

• Contribute to the development of backend, frontend, or full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and AWS in a fast-paced fintech environment.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code aligned with team standards and mentor guidance for production systems.
• Participate in agile engineering practices including code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups to support iterative product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as DevOps, QA, and Product to ensure seamless deployment and operation of services.
• Support the replatform effort by researching and proposing improvements to system reliability and developer productivity.
• Gain hands-on experience building and scaling distributed systems within a regulated U.S. cryptocurrency exchange platform.
• Work on live, high-impact products used by customers to buy, trade, hold, and earn digital assets.
• Engage with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs as part of daily development tasks.
• Utilize version control (Git) and continuous integration tools to manage code changes and streamline development workflows.
• Learn and apply object-oriented design principles in the context of Java-based backend services.
• Develop frontend components using TypeScript and React within a modern web application stack.
• Interact with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS to deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure.
• Receive mentorship from experienced engineers while contributing to a compliant, secure, and scalable financial technology platform.
• Operate within a remote-first culture with cameras-on collaboration expectations.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Java and understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, or modern web development frameworks is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, or RDS.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Exposure to version control (Git) and continuous integration tools is a plus.
