  • • You will be instrumental in guiding the engineering direction for key product areas, influencing cross-team decisions, and championing the adoption of modern software development practices. A significant aspect of this role involves the thoughtful integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and into the product experience. This includes leveraging AI tools to enhance team velocity, improve collaboration, and drive innovation in our product offerings. Your expertise in delivering Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions will be crucial, as you understand the imperative of shipping value rapidly and iterating based on continuous learning and customer feedback.
  • • This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you will be expected to actively contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions, and problem-solving alongside your team. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of best practices in areas such as cloud-native development, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. Your ability to mentor and develop engineers, providing them with opportunities for growth and skill enhancement, will be a key measure of success.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, and other engineering teams to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software. This includes translating complex user needs and business requirements into actionable technical plans and ensuring alignment across different functional groups. Your leadership will be vital in navigating the complexities of a fast-paced, evolving industry, ensuring Magnet Forensics remains at the cutting edge of digital investigation technology.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards for code quality, system reliability, and security. This involves implementing effective code review processes, performance monitoring, and incident response strategies. You will also play a role in attracting and retaining top engineering talent, contributing to the growth and strength of the Magnet Forensics engineering organization.
