• • The Software Engineering Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing and contributing to the creation of solutions and architectures for high-volume, high-transaction applications used across Experian Employer Services (EES).
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading code reviews, writing code, evaluating SAST findings, mentoring engineers, planning SCRUM teams, managing on-call rotations, collaborating with product and design teams, and ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• • The role involves leading the modernization of mission-critical platforms serving millions of users, with direct influence on architectural direction and executive-level strategy, while reporting to the Director of Software Engineering in a fully remote capacity.
• • The manager will build and scale engineering teams through structured coaching, improve production efficiency via incident reviews and continuous improvement, champion secure SDLC practices, and partner with security teams on vulnerability management.
• • Success in this role includes driving Agile maturity, establishing multi-year development roadmaps, improving process sustainability, and providing regular updates to leadership on team progress and sprint outcomes.
