- • Coordinate and schedule product demos and discovery calls with software vendors for evaluation purposes
- • Attend all vendor demos and take detailed, structured notes capturing key functionality, pricing, and differentiators
- • Produce written comparative analyses of vendor platforms against current internal tools, including clear strengths and weaknesses with direct quotes from demos
- • Manage ongoing communication with vendors to request additional information, clarifications, or documentation post-demo
- • Maintain a centralized tracker of all software tools evaluated, including evaluation status, decision outcomes, and timelines
- • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and use cases before initiating vendor evaluations
- • Flag discrepancies, red flags, or gaps in vendor offerings and escalate critical findings to relevant decision-makers
- • Ensure all vendor assessments are accurate, well-documented, and aligned with organizational needs
- • Work within US time zones (EST–PST) to align with stakeholder availability and vendor schedules
- • Utilize remote collaboration tools including Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Asana to manage communication and documentation
- • Operate independently in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness
- • Handle multiple vendor evaluation cycles simultaneously without compromising detail or quality
- • Apply structured note-taking and analytical skills to synthesize complex technical and commercial information into actionable insights
- • Ensure all procurement documentation is organized, accessible, and compliant with internal processes
- • Participate in the full vendor evaluation lifecycle from initial scoping through final recommendation and documentation
- • Adhere strictly to application requirements, including completing the full application form and recording a video as the first step in the interview process
- • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive vendor and internal stakeholder information
- • Adapt quickly to evolving software needs and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- • Demonstrate consistent reliability and responsiveness in remote communication across global teams
- • Use vendor tracking spreadsheets or procurement databases to maintain accurate records of evaluations and outcomes
- • Ensure all assessments are written in clear, professional, and precise English with no ambiguity or grammatical errors
- • Follow established procurement workflows and contribute to process improvements where gaps are identified
- • Work exclusively with US or UK-based companies and be familiar with their business practices and communication norms
- • Be fully self-sufficient in managing remote workflows without reliance on in-person support or office infrastructure
