- • Are you a meticulous SolidWorks Designer with a passion for transforming intricate designs into tangible, high-quality joinery and cabinetry? TwoConnect LLC is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team, offering a fully remote opportunity to work on bespoke projects for leading companies.
- • In this technically demanding role, you will be the architect of precision, responsible for producing highly detailed, production-ready 3D models and 2D workshop drawings. Your expertise will be crucial in bringing bespoke joinery and high-end interior fit-outs to life, bridging the gap between conceptual design and flawless manufacturing and installation.
- • You will leverage your deep understanding of joinery construction, materials, hardware systems, and manufacturing workflows to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also perfectly buildable. This position requires a unique blend of advanced SolidWorks capabilities and practical, real-world joinery and production knowledge.
- • Your core responsibilities will revolve around meticulous 3D modelling and technical drawing. You will be tasked with generating precise 3D models and detailed 2D workshop drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring every component is accurately represented. This includes developing bespoke joinery solutions for a diverse range of projects, from custom cabinetry and intricate furniture pieces to elaborate feature walls and comprehensive high-end interior fit-outs.
- • Maintaining strict control over tolerances, revisions, and overall documentation accuracy is paramount. You will ensure that all drawings adhere to project specifications and meet the highest quality benchmarks, guaranteeing that the final product aligns perfectly with the client's vision and the designer's intent.
- • A significant part of your role will involve creating production-ready documentation. This includes generating accurate cutting lists, detailed assembly drawings, and CNC-ready files that streamline the manufacturing process. Your drawings must be fully buildable, leaving no room for ambiguity on the factory floor.
- • You will work collaboratively with production teams, providing them with the necessary documentation and insights to refine and optimize designs for efficient manufacturing. This close interaction ensures that your designs are not only technically sound but also practical and cost-effective to produce.
- • Constructability and problem-solving are key aspects of this position. You will be expected to resolve complex detailing challenges, proactively identifying potential constructability risks early in the design phase. This involves critically reviewing architectural and interior design documentation to anticipate and address clashes, missing details, and coordination gaps before they impact production.
- • Your ability to integrate seamlessly with manufacturing and workflow processes will be vital. You will work closely with factory and production teams, offering your expertise to optimize material usage and enhance overall production efficiency. This includes supporting value engineering initiatives while steadfastly maintaining the integrity of craftsmanship and design.
- • You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing standards and internal workflows, sharing your knowledge and experience to elevate the team's capabilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the success of high-profile projects and to grow your career within a supportive and forward-thinking organization.
- • This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with a global team. You will be part of a company that values innovation, precision, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of its work. If you are a driven and skilled SolidWorks Designer looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we encourage you to apply.
