Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Solutions Architect for Deepgram in EMEA, you will be a critical technical leader enabling enterprise customers across Europe to successfully adopt and scale Deepgram’s voice AI platform—speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice agent technologies—ensuring production-grade implementations that meet regional compliance, performance, and security expectations.
  • • You will own end-to-end post-sales technical success for assigned accounts, acting as the trusted advisor who unblocks integrations, optimizes accuracy and latency, and guides customers from proof-of-concept to stable, scalable production deployments while serving as the Tier-3 escalation point for complex technical issues requiring deep root cause analysis and durable solutions.
  • • You will design and publish reference architectures, implementation patterns, and reusable assets (such as Helm charts, runbooks, and sample code) tailored to common EMEA use cases including contact centers, voice analytics, QA systems, and AI agents, directly contributing to scalable knowledge systems that amplify your expertise across regions.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to translate real-world customer feedback into actionable product insights, prioritize fixes and features, and support pre-sales efforts when deep technical credibility is required to win complex enterprise deals.
  • • You will participate in an on-call rotation aligned with EMEA business hours, contribute to incident response, and help Deepgram meet or exceed regional SLAs through proactive monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement of support processes.
  • • You will thrive in this role if you enjoy solving hard problems across code, containers, and cloud infrastructure; translating ambiguous business constraints into clear technical architectures; writing production-grade tooling and scripts; valuing operational excellence through documentation and reproducibility; and measuring success by customer outcomes rather than ticket closure.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles with a proven track record of owning complex post-sales engagements including production deployments, migrations, performance tuning, and incident response.
  • • Professional software engineering experience in at least one language such as Python, Rust, or JavaScript, with the ability to build and deploy proof-of-concepts, internal tools, and customer-facing scripts that real users run in production environments.
  • • Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and secure network design for API-driven systems, including familiarity with authentication, authorization, data residency, and compliance frameworks relevant to EMEA enterprises.
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying highly technical concepts clearly to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders, with fluency in English and preferably an additional European language (e.g., German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish).
  • • Familiarity with GDPR, data privacy regulations, and enterprise security review processes common across EMEA, coupled with the willingness and ability to travel within the region (10–20%) for critical customer milestones and relationship building.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Holistic health benefits including medical, dental, vision, mental health support, and life/STD/LTD insurance, administered locally via Employer of Record to comply with country-specific regulations in your EMEA location.
  • • Work-life blend perks such as unlimited PTO, generous paid parental leave, flexible scheduling, quarterly personal productivity stipends, and a one-time home office upgrade stipend to support your remote work environment.
  • • Continuous learning opportunities including an education stipend, access to conferences and talks, employee resource groups, and AI enablement workshops to keep you at the forefront of voice AI and applied engineering practices.
