📋 Description

• As a Solutions Architect for Deepgram in India, you will serve as the primary technical authority for enterprise customers across the APAC region, driving successful adoption of Deepgram’s industry-leading Voice AI platform through end-to-end ownership of architecture, implementation, and complex technical problem solving. This role is critical to Deepgram’s follow-the-sun operational model, ensuring seamless customer support and technical guidance across time zones while contributing to product evolution through direct customer feedback.
• You will lead architecture and implementation for enterprise deployments leveraging Deepgram’s speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and voice agent (VA) capabilities, owning post-sales technical success by unblocking integrations, optimizing accuracy and latency, and guiding customers to stable production. As the Tier-3 escalation point, you will drive root cause analysis for complex issues, propose durable mitigations, and develop automation or fixes when possible, while designing reference architectures tailored to APAC use cases such as contact centers, voice analytics, QA systems, and AI agents.
• You will partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate real-world customer signals into actionable roadmap improvements, contribute to pre-sales discovery and proof-of-concepts when deep technical credibility is required, and build reusable internal tools, sample code, and playbooks that streamline repeatable tasks for both customers and internal teams across regions.
• You will contribute to knowledge systems by capturing runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and best practices that scale expertise globally, participate in on-call rotations aligned with APAC business hours to meet or exceed regional SLAs, and travel within the region (10–20%) for critical customer milestones such as production cutovers or architecture reviews.
• In your first 90 days, you will ramp on Deepgram’s platform and support practices, shadow cross-functional calls, and begin owning low-risk technical tasks; by day 60, you will own 2–3 customer workstreams end to end and publish a reusable asset with APAC-specific nuances; by day 90, you will act as primary technical owner for multiple production accounts, close at least one complex investigation with measurable impact, and present insights on regional patterns and the automation or content you created to resolve them.
• This role demands a blend of deep technical fluency, customer empathy, and operational excellence—you will thrive if you enjoy solving hard problems across code, containers, and cloud layers, translating business constraints into clear architectures, writing production-grade tooling, and valuing crisp documentation and reproducible processes over ticket closure.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles
• Professional software engineering experience in at least one language such as JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, with ability to build POCs and tools used by real users
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and secure network design for API-driven systems
• Proven ownership of complex post-sales work including production deployments, migrations, performance tuning, and incident response
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for both technical and executive audiences
