- • Architect, maintain, and iterate on Zip’s core PeopleSoft integration templates to ensure scalable, repeatable, and robust customer implementations across enterprise clients.
- • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams to align integration templates with core product architecture, field insights, and evolving customer needs.
- • Analyze complex customer implementations to identify reusable data mapping patterns and system-specific nuances, converting bespoke solutions into standardized internal assets.
- • Support pre-sales engineering efforts by designing and vetting integration architectures with account teams to ensure prospective customers are set up for smooth, best-practice deployments.
- • Define, document, and champion technical solution consulting best practices to raise the technical bar and drive consistency across all customer implementations.
- • Leverage existing expertise in PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) — specifically Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), and eProcurement — to build deep fluency across additional ERP ecosystems and become the primary subject matter expert on integration architecture, data models, and Zip’s App Studio.
- • Design solutions with an engineering mindset, prioritizing permanent scale by thoroughly building and executing solutions once so that future implementations occur effortlessly.
- • Work directly with API configurations and template modifications to troubleshoot, validate, and optimize integration workflows, balancing high-level architectural design with hands-on technical execution.
- • Translate highly technical integration requirements and constraints into clear, actionable guidance for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
- • Test and troubleshoot integration errors across XML/REST endpoints and standard authentication protocols, ensuring reliability and performance in live customer environments.
- • Quickly document customer requirements with minimal oversight, translating business needs into technical specifications for internal teams.
- • Maintain familiarity with PeopleSoft integration architecture components including Integration Broker (IB), Component Interfaces (CI), Application Engine, and File Layouts.
- • Continuously seek opportunities for systematic improvement in integration processes, tools, and documentation to enhance efficiency and reduce implementation friction.
- • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure integration assets evolve in tandem with product roadmap changes and customer feedback.
- • Act as a technical bridge between Zip’s internal teams and external enterprise customers using PeopleSoft, ensuring seamless alignment between product capabilities and customer system environments.
- • Contribute to the development of reusable integration assets that reduce time-to-value for future implementations and elevate the standard of Zip’s ERP integration ecosystem.
- • Remain open to learning and adopting new technologies and platforms as Zip expands its integration capabilities beyond PeopleSoft into other ERP and procurement systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations within PeopleSoft environments.
- • Strong foundational knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) business processes and data tables, specifically within Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), and eProcurement.
- • Familiarity with standard PeopleSoft integration architecture, including Integration Broker (IB), Component Interfaces (CI), Application Engine, and File Layouts.
- • Experience working with XML / REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.
- • Past ERP implementation, integration, configuration or administration experience is required.
- • Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
