- • Architect, maintain, and iterate on Zip’s core Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 integration templates to ensure scalable, repeatable, and robust customer implementations.
- • Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams to align integration templates with core product architecture, field insights, and evolving customer needs.
- • Analyze complex customer implementations to identify reusable data mapping patterns and system-specific nuances, converting bespoke solutions into standardized internal assets.
- • Partner with account teams during pre-sales to design and vet integration architectures, ensuring prospective customers are set up for smooth, best-practice deployments.
- • Define, document, and champion technical solution consulting best practices to raise the technical bar and drive consistency across all customer implementations.
- • Leverage existing expertise in Oracle EBS, P2P, and financial systems to build deep fluency across additional ERP ecosystems, becoming the ultimate subject matter expert on integration architecture, data models, and Zip’s App Studio.
- • Design solutions with an engineering mindset—building thoroughly once so that future implementations happen effortlessly, balancing high-level architectural design with hands-on API configuration and template modifications.
- • Apply foundational knowledge of Oracle EBS business processes, schema layouts, and data models, specifically within Oracle Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
- • Utilize standard Oracle EBS integration methods including Open Interface Tables, Public APIs/PL-SQL Packages, Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG), and REST/SOAP services.
- • Work with XML and REST-based endpoints and standard authentication protocols to configure and troubleshoot integrations.
- • Translate highly technical information for audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge, including non-technical stakeholders and customer teams.
- • Test and troubleshoot integration errors independently, using API documentation and system logs to diagnose and resolve issues.
- • Quickly understand and document customer requirements with minimal oversight, ensuring accurate and actionable technical specifications.
- • Maintain a continual learning mindset, staying open to adopting new technologies and platforms that Zip integrates with in the future.
- • Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and proactivity, consistently seeking opportunities to improve systems through systematic, process-driven enhancements.
- • Collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of integration solutions aligned with both technical and business objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 environments.
- • Strong foundational knowledge of core Oracle EBS business processes, schema layouts, and data models, specifically within Oracle Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
- • Familiarity with standard Oracle EBS integration methods, including Open Interface Tables, Public APIs/PL-SQL Packages, Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG), and REST/SOAP services.
- • Experience working with XML / REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.
- • Past ERP implementation, integration, configuration or administration experience is required.
- • Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
