📋 Description

• As a Solutions Architect focused on SAP at Zip, you will design and standardize integration templates that power scalable, repeatable customer implementations across enterprise customers like Coinbase, Notion, Canva, Samsara, Snowflake, and Databricks, directly influencing how hundreds of future implementations are delivered.
• You will architect and maintain Zip’s core SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) and Ariba integration templates, bridge product and field teams by aligning integration templates with core product architecture and customer needs, analyze complex implementations to identify reusable patterns, support pre-sales engineering by vetting integration architectures, drive technical excellence by defining best practices, and build deep fluency across additional ERP ecosystems to become a Multi-ERP subject matter expert.
• You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams while reporting to Engineering, contributing to Zip’s mission as the AI platform for enterprise procurement that has saved over $8 billion and processed over $500 billion in spend for influential enterprises including T-Mobile, OpenAI, AMD, Mars, and Dollar Tree.
• You will develop expertise in integration architecture, data models, and Zip’s App Studio, learn to translate technical information for diverse audiences, and drive continuous improvement by designing solutions once for permanent scale, enabling effortless future implementations through engineering-minded problem-solving and proactive ownership.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with SAP ERP environments (ECC, S/4HANA) or procurement platforms (Ariba)
• Strong foundational knowledge of core SAP business processes and data models within Materials Management (MM) and Financials (FI)
• Familiarity with standard SAP integration methods, such as IDocs, BAPI/RFC, OData APIs, or SAP BTP/CPI
• Experience working with XML/REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols
• Past ERP implementation, integration, configuration or administration experience is required
• Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge
• Comfortable working with API documentation and testing/troubleshooting integration errors
• A continual learner open to learning new technologies that Zip may integrate with in the future
• Strong communication skills, extreme attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
• Experience working with product and engineering teams, process-driven with a strong bias toward continuous improvement
