📋 Description

• As a Solutions Architect focused on SAP at Zip, you will design and standardize integration templates that power scalable, repeatable customer implementations across enterprise procurement workflows, directly influencing how hundreds of future implementations are delivered.
• You will architect and maintain Zip’s core SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) and Ariba integration templates, bridge product and field teams by aligning integration templates with product architecture and customer needs, analyze complex implementations to identify reusable patterns, support pre-sales engineering by vetting integration architectures, drive technical excellence by defining best practices, expand expertise across additional ERP ecosystems, and build solutions with an engineering mindset for permanent scale.
• You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams while reporting to Engineering, contributing to Zip’s mission as the AI platform for enterprise procurement trusted by global leaders like T-Mobile, OpenAI, AMD, Mars, and Dollar Tree, which have collectively saved over $8 billion and processed over $500 billion in spend.
• In this role, you will become a Multi-ERP subject matter expert, drive technical implementation excellence, create reusable integration assets, define standards for Zip’s product interactions with external systems, and raise the technical bar for both internal teams and customer-facing consultants through systematic improvement and proactive ownership.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with SAP ERP environments (ECC, S/4HANA) or procurement platforms (Ariba)
• Strong foundational knowledge of core SAP business processes and data models within Materials Management (MM) and Financials (FI)
• Familiarity with standard SAP integration methods, such as IDocs, BAPI/RFC, OData APIs, or SAP BTP/CPI
• Experience working with XML/REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols
• Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge
• Comfortable testing and troubleshooting integration errors
