📋 Description

• As a Solutions Architect focused on Workday Financials at Zip, you will design and standardize integration templates that power scalable, repeatable customer implementations, directly influencing how hundreds of future deployments are delivered and raising the technical bar across engineering and customer-facing teams.
• You will architect and maintain Zip’s core Workday Financials and Procurement integration templates, bridge product and field insights with field needs, analyze complex customer implementations to extract reusable patterns, support pre-sales engineering with integration architecture validation, and drive technical excellence by defining best practices for solution consulting.
• You will join Zip’s Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) organization, reporting to Engineering, and collaborate with product leaders from Apple, Airbnb, and Meta, as well as former procurement leaders from United Health, Sanofi, and NASA, to build the technical foundation for Zip’s AI-powered enterprise procurement platform trusted by T-Mobile, OpenAI, AMD, Mars, and more.
• You will deepen your expertise in Workday Financials while expanding fluency across additional ERP ecosystems, mastering integration architecture, data models, and Zip’s App Studio, ultimately becoming a Multi-ERP subject matter expert who builds permanent, reusable solutions that eliminate redundant work and enable effortless future implementations.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with Workday Financials
• Strong foundational knowledge of core Workday Financials business processes, data models, and the Foundation Data Model (FDM) layout within Core Financials, Procurement, and Supplier Accounts
• Familiarity with standard Workday integration methods and tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Web Services (WWS), and RaaS (Reports-as-a-Service)
• Experience working with XML/REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols
• Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge
• Extreme attention to detail and a proactive, process-driven mindset with a bias toward continuous improvement
