  • • Serve as a Solutions Consultant (Presales) based in Amsterdam, owning the technical diagnosis, prescription, and validation phases of the sales cycle with a consultative approach for enterprise customers.
  • • Collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Architects, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to evangelize Workato’s platform and drive technical sales stages to closure.
  • • Conduct business and technical discovery with prospective customers to architect and build customized solutions using Workato’s automation platform.
  • • Create and deliver tailored product demonstrations that align with customer business needs and technical requirements during the pre-sales lifecycle.
  • • Lead and execute technical workshops and proof of concepts (POCs), both on-site and remotely, to validate solution feasibility and demonstrate value.
  • • Respond to functional and technical components of RFIs and RFPs with accurate, compelling, and compliant submissions.
  • • Articulate complex technical and architectural concepts—such as integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and AI-driven orchestration—to diverse audiences including business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • • Represent Workato at industry conferences, seminars, and field events to promote the platform and engage with potential customers and partners.
  • • Collect and synthesize customer feedback from the field, analyzing market needs and channeling insights to Product Management and Engineering to influence the product roadmap.
  • • Develop customer-specific value propositions and strategic roadmaps that align Workato’s capabilities with enterprise goals for automation and AI agent adoption.
  • • Maintain deep knowledge of enterprise integration vendors including MuleSoft, Microsoft, Boomi, Oracle, TIBCO, SAP, and Snaplogic to position Workato effectively in competitive landscapes.
  • • Stay current on AI’s evolving role in integration and orchestration, particularly as it relates to Workato’s ā€˜genies’ and agentic automation capabilities.
  • • Travel as required to meet customer needs and work flexible hours to support global sales cycles and regional coverage.
  • • Communicate fluently in English with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business value for non-technical audiences.
  • • Demonstrate strong presentation skills and composure when engaging with executives, IT leaders, and technical decision-makers.
  • • Proactively identify opportunities to solve problems, take initiative on new responsibilities, and contribute to a culture of growth and impact.

šŸŽÆ Requirements

  • • 3+ years of pre-sales experience in a SaaS organization
  • • Strong background and knowledge in enterprise integration and automation across multiple verticals
  • • Hands-on experience with automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services, enterprise messaging, APIs, and databases
  • • Experience with cloud technologies including iPaaS, SaaS applications, and cloud infrastructure
  • • Good knowledge of integration vendors such as MuleSoft, Microsoft, Boomi, Oracle, TIBCO, SAP, Snaplogic
  • • Dutch Speaking
