This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical aptitude and a passion for technical sales, including pre-sales engineers, technical consultants, or even developers who enjoy customer-facing interactions and problem-solving.
  • • New Relic has a proven track record of successfully transitioning technically skilled engineers into exceptional Solutions Consultants. We provide comprehensive onboarding and training to ensure your success, even if your direct sales experience is limited.
  • • You will collaborate closely with New Relic's sales teams, Technical Account Managers, Technical Support Engineers, and Marketing teams to ensure customers effectively leverage our best-in-class observability solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and strategic guidance, helping customers understand and implement New Relic's capabilities to optimize their applications and infrastructure.

  • • You will develop a comprehensive understanding of our SaaS solutions, the entire sales cycle, and how to effectively support sales efforts by aligning New Relic's offerings with customer needs.

  • • Constructing and presenting persuasive proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations that showcase the practical application and benefits of New Relic's features is a critical part of this role.
  • • You will actively contribute to expanding New Relic's market presence by participating in industry events, creating technical documentation, and delivering training sessions to customers and internal teams.
  • • Foster strong relationships with sales, Solution Consultants, and Technical Account Managers, actively participating in joint efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

  • • Support the sales team in technical qualification of opportunities, ensuring alignment between customer needs and New Relic's solution capabilities.
  • • Develop and deliver technical workshops and training sessions to empower customers and partners with the knowledge to effectively utilize New Relic.
  • • Prepare and present technical deep dives on specific New Relic features and functionalities relevant to customer use cases.
  • • Understand and articulate the security and compliance aspects of New Relic's platform within customer environments.
  • • Contribute to the creation of compelling sales collateral, including technical whitepapers, case studies, and best practice guides.
  • • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling New Relic's broader suite of products and services based on customer needs and strategic goals.
  • • Collaborate with the marketing team on technical content for webinars, blog posts, and social media to enhance New Relic's thought leadership.
