- • Partner with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored platform demonstrations and manage proof-of-value (PoV) engagements that drive technical sales cycles to completion.
- • Respond to RFI/RFP requests with accurate, technically sound responses that align with customer requirements and Workato’s platform capabilities.
- • Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable virtual and physical lab environments across hybrid cloud and on-premise platforms including VMware, KVM, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- • Ensure lab infrastructure is consistently aligned with the latest product releases and real-world enterprise use cases to support sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives.
- • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline environment provisioning, reduce manual effort, and accelerate field team deployments.
- • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Field Engineering to ensure demo content reflects current product features, best practices, and updated integrations.
- • Maintain comprehensive documentation, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks for demo environments to enable consistent and reliable support for field teams.
- • Work closely with Customer Success teams to ensure seamless transition from pre-sales PoV to post-sale implementation, enhancing overall customer experience.
- • Monitor and optimize lab environment availability, performance, and security to meet enterprise-grade standards and minimize downtime during critical customer engagements.
- • Proactively identify infrastructure bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and repeatability of demo environments.
- • Translate complex technical requirements into actionable, reproducible lab builds that demonstrate Workato’s integration and automation capabilities to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Manage multiple concurrent demo environments and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility sales support environment.
- • Provide ongoing technical guidance and training to field teams on setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of demo platforms and automation workflows.
- • Stay current with evolving cloud technologies, integration platforms, and enterprise software architectures to ensure lab environments remain cutting-edge and relevant.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–4 years of experience in systems engineering, presales, IT infrastructure, or DevOps
- • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Packer
- • Familiarity with API management and integration platforms such as Boomi, Workato, or MuleSoft
- • Basic scripting skills in Python, Ruby, PowerShell, or Bash
- • Experience managing cloud-based resources on AWS EC2, Azure VM, or similar platforms
- • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
