📋 Description

• The Solutions Engineer, DACH role at Glean Technologies is a trusted technical advisor position within the GTM organization, focused on driving the adoption of Glean’s Work AI platform across enterprise customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This role is critical to helping organizations unlock the value of AI-powered search, assistants, and agents by connecting Glean to their core productivity and collaboration tools.
• Day to day, the Solutions Engineer will perform interactive product demonstrations for prospective customers, educate technical teams on Glean’s architecture and integration scope, scope and execute Proof of Value (PoV) pilots to validate business and technical outcomes, train customers and partners on product usage, present at major industry events like AWS re:Invent and Google Cloud Next, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to surface customer feedback and shape the product roadmap.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise SaaS integrations, AI-driven search and agent architectures, and technical pre-sales methodologies. You will gain hands-on experience guiding Fortune 500 organizations through their Generative AI journeys, sharpen your stakeholder management and presentation skills, and contribute directly to revenue-critical sales cycles while working with cutting-edge cloud and identity technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• At least 5+ years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales with exposure to value-based discovery frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical challenges
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences
• Comfort with presenting both virtually and in person to technical and executive stakeholders
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity and SSO systems (Okta, Azure/Entra ID, SAML, SCIM, OIDC), APIs, and enterprise security tools (firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, DLP, WAFs, proxies)
