- • Partner directly with Deel’s Global Payroll go-to-market teams to demonstrate the value of Deel’s Global Payroll Platform to prospective clients and secure technical wins during sales cycles.
- • Consult with prospective customers to evaluate their existing payroll practices and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and compliance alignment.
- • Act as the primary technical voice during sales processes, leading solution discovery, responding to RFPs, conducting live platform demonstrations, and facilitating integration workshops.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to translate client needs into actionable product feedback, accelerate deal velocity, and refine value messaging for the Global Payroll offering.
- • Stay current on global payroll legislation, regulatory trends, and industry best practices across ASEAN and international markets to ensure service offerings remain compliant and competitive.
- • Support Partnership and Marketing-led initiatives by providing technical insights and content to enhance go-to-market strategies and customer education materials.
- • Challenge the status quo by identifying scalable improvements to processes, integrations, and client workflows within the Global Payroll platform.
- • Translate complex client requirements into clear, tailored, and compliant payroll solutions that align with Deel’s platform capabilities and global compliance framework.
- • Deliver high-impact presentations and technical demonstrations to diverse audiences, including HR leaders, finance teams, and C-level executives, with a strong focus on business value and ROI.
- • Maintain deep expertise in HCM and ERP payroll integrations, particularly with Workday and SAP SuccessFactors, to provide authoritative guidance during client evaluations.
- • Contribute to a collaborative, fast-moving startup environment by embracing ambiguity, driving initiatives independently, and supporting teammates across time zones.
- • Travel up to 10% of the time within and outside the ASEAN region to conduct on-site client meetings, workshops, or internal alignment sessions as needed.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by combining technical knowledge with cultural and regulatory awareness of payroll systems in ASEAN markets.
- • Ensure seamless hand-off of qualified opportunities to implementation teams by documenting client requirements, technical constraints, and integration needs accurately and thoroughly.
- • Continuously refine sales enablement materials based on client feedback and evolving regulatory landscapes to strengthen the effectiveness of the Global Payroll sales motion.
- • Advocate for client needs internally to influence product roadmap priorities and ensure the platform evolves to meet real-world global payroll challenges.
- • Uphold Deel’s commitment to inclusivity and compliance by ensuring all solutions respect local labor laws, data privacy regulations, and worker protections across 150+ countries.
🎯 Requirements
- • Fluent level of Mandarin and English
- • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Pre-Sales Consultant
- • Previous experience working for a Global Payroll or HCM organization
- • Background and understanding of best-in-class HCM and ERP payroll-based integrations, especially Workday and SuccessFactors
- • Willingness to travel inside and outside of territory (~10% or less)
- • Outstanding presentational skills, always focusing on value (multilingual capability is a bonus)
