Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Serve as the technical lead for new-market expansion in the UK and Nordics, owning the end-to-end technical path from initial prospect conversations to signed pilot agreements.
  • • Design, build, and debug custom integrations with customer systems such as CABAS estimating platforms, enabling seamless data flow for pilot deployments and live demonstrations.
  • • Develop and iterate on market-specific demos and portal prototypes using Partly’s AI-powered Interpreter model to showcase technical capabilities before full engineering investment.
  • • Conduct Technical Readiness Assessments (TRAs) to map customer systems, dependencies, and data formats, ensuring both parties have a clear understanding of pilot requirements.
  • • Translate complex automotive parts data from inconsistent, fragmented global sources into unified, actionable formats that power Partly’s B2B infrastructure and AI tools.
  • • Build commercial value-proposition frameworks, financial calculators, and reporting dashboards (e.g., insurer analytics) to quantify ROI and drive deal progression using customer-specific metrics.
  • • Act as the primary technical liaison between Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, translating customer feedback and recurring deal blockers into prioritized product requirements for new markets.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally to remove technical roadblocks, align timelines, and ensure timely delivery of pilot milestones across multiple concurrent deals.
  • • Independently review and manipulate codebases and datasets using SQL and other tools to troubleshoot integration issues, prototype solutions, and accelerate deployment cycles.
  • • Leverage Partly’s proprietary foundation model, Interpreter, trained on licensed OEM build data from 52+ manufacturers, to deliver unmatched accuracy in automotive parts identification and procurement automation.
  • • Shape product development for European markets by identifying patterns in customer workflows and advocating for features that solve region-specific repair industry challenges.
  • • Work autonomously as the sole solutions engineer for the UK and Nordics, owning outcomes with minimal oversight and driving deal momentum through technical leadership.
  • • Demonstrate fluency in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including repair shop operators, insurance adjusters, and enterprise procurement teams.
  • • Rapidly prototype and deploy experimental features to test market reactions, using real-world customer data to inform product evolution and sales strategy.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Comfortable working close to data and code and ability to review it independently. You can write SQL, read and debug your way around a codebase, and stand up demos or prototypes yourself rather than waiting on engineering.
  • • Strong technical problem-solver and systems thinker. You break ambiguous, messy problems into root causes and generalisable solutions, not one-off fixes.
  • • Commercially minded. You understand how a technical decision affects a deal, and you can build the business case (frameworks, calculators, reporting) that moves a customer.
  • • Excellent communicator who builds rapport. You hold your own with customers and translate fluently between their world and Partly's Product and Engineering teams.
  • • Self-directed and high-ownership. You're comfortable being the only solutions person in a market, owning problems end-to-end with little hand-holding.
  • • (Preferred) Experience in a solutions engineering, forward-deployed, or technical pre-sales role, ideally integrating into or selling to enterprise customers.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to be early in a fast-scaling company with $50M Series B funding and $500M valuation.
  • • Direct access to founders and core AI technology (Interpreter model) with real ownership from day one.
  • • Work on a globally impactful product in a $1.9 trillion industry with minimal existing software infrastructure.
  • • Collaborate with a global team spanning Europe, Australasia, and the US, with investors including Blackbird Ventures, Square Peg, Octopus Ventures, and founders of Canva, Notion, and Figma.
