- • The Spanish Payroll Specialist role at CloudPay Limited is critical to ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for clients in Spain, directly supporting the company’s mission to be the world’s most trusted global payroll partner.
- • Day to day, the specialist will manage the full end-to-end payroll cycle, including processing payroll according to the monthly calendar, validating inputs with Operations, resolving discrepancies, maintaining audit-ready records, preparing and uploading reports to the CloudPay platform, handling Spanish Social Security submissions via SILTRA, CONTRAT@, CERTIFIC@, and DELTA systems, managing tax declarations to AEAT (models 111, 216, 190, 296, 345), supporting parallel runs for new clients, and collaborating with Implementation teams on account transitions and configuration validations.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in Spanish payroll legislation and compliance, gain experience with international payroll environments, develop proficiency in Wolters Kluwer A3 and SUMAR (a plus), enhance cross-functional collaboration skills, and grow professionally through ownership of complex payroll scenarios including benefits-in-kind, stock options, and non-resident employee processing.
🎯 Requirements
- • Extensive hands-on experience managing end-to-end Spanish payroll processing and deep understanding of Spanish payroll legislation, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements
- • Expertise in managing complex payroll components such as benefits-in-kind, flexible remuneration, stock options/RSUs, and non-resident employee scenarios
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English (minimum English level: B2)
- • Proficiency with core business tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email systems, and Google Apps
- • Confident decision-making skills, a proactive approach to planning, and the ability to manage priorities independently
- • Familiarity with Wolters Kluwer A3 software and SUMAR is a plus
- • Exposure to international payroll environments is beneficial
