- • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support business intelligence and analytics needs
- • Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis to ensure efficient data retrieval and system responsiveness
- • Develop and support ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading across multiple source systems
- • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all database systems and data pipelines
- • Collaborate closely with data analysts, data engineers, and application teams to translate business requirements into technical database solutions
- • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly, minimizing downtime and data discrepancies
- • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for database schemas, stored procedures, ETL workflows, and data models
- • Support reporting and analytics initiatives by building scalable and efficient data models that enable accurate and timely insights
- • Work within U.S. Eastern Time zone or closely aligned hours to coordinate with cross-functional teams based in the U.S. East Coast
- • Apply expertise in relational database systems including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle to deliver robust data solutions
- • Implement database design principles such as normalization and indexing to enhance system performance and maintainability
- • Utilize ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or custom scripting solutions to automate data movement and transformation workflows
- • Leverage knowledge of data warehousing concepts to structure data for analytical reporting and long-term storage
- • Apply basic scripting skills in Python or similar languages to enhance automation and data processing capabilities when needed
- • Maintain a strong focus on problem-solving and analytical thinking to address complex data challenges and improve system reliability
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of database architecture and data governance practices across the organization
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SQL development
- • Strong proficiency in relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- • Expertise in writing complex queries, joins, CTEs, and window functions
- • Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- • Experience with ETL tools or scripting (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, or custom pipelines)
- • Good understanding of database design principles (normalization, indexing, etc.)
