📋 Description

• • The Sr Accountant role at Harris Computer Systems Corporation is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards, supporting the company’s global operations through precise month-end close processes and audit readiness.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing monthly accounting activities per the Close Calendar, preparing and posting accruals, handling intangible assets and lease accounting (including recognition, measurement, and reporting), preparing bank and account reconciliations, managing intercompany transactions and foreign expense calculations, and supporting internal and statutory audits with documentation and reconciliations.
• • The company operates as a global provider of specialized software solutions, with a strong presence in North America and growing operations in India, offering a remote-first work environment that enables collaboration across time zones while maintaining high standards of financial integrity and control.
• • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in IFRS and Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), gain hands-on experience with enterprise ERP systems like Oracle R12 and Microsoft Dynamics 365, strengthen analytical and communication skills, and contribute directly to audit readiness and financial governance in a multinational corporate setting.
