📋 Description

• • Own and prepare complex sections of SEC filings including drafting disclosures, tying out supporting workpapers, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements
• • Manage end-to-end financial reporting workstreams by coordinating timelines, validating inputs, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of quarterly and annual deliverables
• • Research and resolve complex technical accounting issues by analyzing authoritative guidance, documenting conclusions, and recommending appropriate accounting treatments
• • Develop detailed technical accounting memos that clearly articulate issues, supporting analysis, and business impacts for leadership and external audit review
• • Ensure the integrity of financial statements by reviewing balances, disclosures, and supporting documentation for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• • Own and execute internal controls by designing, documenting, and maintaining SOX compliance and operational effectiveness across financial reporting processes
• • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors by coordinating requests, providing documentation, and addressing technical accounting questions
• • Evaluate the impact of new accounting standards, develop implementation plans, and ensure proper adoption across the organization
• • Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies in reporting workflows and implementing enhancements to increase control efficiency and accuracy
• • Analyze financial data and disclosures to identify trends, risks, and inconsistencies that could affect reporting outcomes or regulatory compliance
• • Maintain and enhance reporting documentation by standardizing workpapers and ensuring consistent audit readiness across all reporting cycles
• • Support quarterly and annual reporting cycles by managing competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines without compromising quality
• • Advise internal stakeholders on the accounting implications of business transactions, initiatives, and strategic decisions
• • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations by applying expert knowledge of accounting standards and governance frameworks
• • Leverage automation and AI tools to improve financial processes and control efficiency while maintaining professional skepticism regarding AI-generated outputs
• • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations teams to facilitate timely and accurate information flow for financial reporting requirements
• • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze complex financial data and support reporting accuracy
