- • As a Sr. AI/Automation Engineer within the HR Technology team at General Motors, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing enterprise workflows through the design, development, and implementation of intelligent plugins and advanced automations.
- • This pivotal role is responsible for executing the HR Automation and AI product roadmap, ensuring close alignment with overarching HR organizational goals and maximizing the value derived from investments in cutting-edge Agentic AI platforms like Moveworks and Serval, alongside other critical systems such as ServiceNow and Workday HCM.
- • The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in integrations, automation, and the intricate design of intelligent workflows. This senior-level position demands not only exceptional development prowess but also strong communication, collaboration, and project leadership skills, enabling effective partnership across business and technology teams, including Business Centers of Excellence (COEs), People Services, HR Technology, and IT stakeholders, to deliver scalable and impactful solutions.
- • You will gain comprehensive, hands-on experience with AI platforms such as Moveworks and Serval through dedicated training and direct project involvement, becoming proficient in their capabilities.
- • A core responsibility will be the design, development, and deployment of custom plugins tailored for the Moveworks or Serval platforms, enhancing their functionality and user experience.
- • You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across COEs, HR, and IT departments to meticulously gather, validate, and refine requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
- • You will lead the successful implementation of AI agents and their associated integrations, working in tandem with your immediate team and crucial stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
- • A significant part of the role involves integrating with various enterprise systems using a range of technologies, including APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and other robust authentication models, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- • You will conduct in-depth technical analysis and facilitate workshops with IT and Solution Architects to architect and design the integrations necessary for these AI agents, ensuring a solid technical foundation.
- • Development of automation workflows will leverage structured data formats such as JSON and XML, requiring a strong understanding of data manipulation and transformation.
- • The role encompasses thorough testing, comprehensive documentation, and the successful deployment of new plugins and system enhancements, ensuring quality and reliability.
- • Maintaining the highest standards of security, data integrity, and compliance will be paramount in all integration activities, safeguarding sensitive HR data.
- • You will be responsible for preparing detailed Solution Design documents for AI agents and their supporting integrations, providing clear technical blueprints.
- • A key aspect of the role involves analyzing platform capabilities to propose innovative, scalable, and technically sound solutions that address current and future needs.
- • You will actively maintain the integration and plugin roadmap, overseeing feature enhancements, updates, and strategic improvements to ensure the platform remains current and effective.
