- • Architect and ship core mobile commerce products that are durable, fast, and clean, working across frontend, backend, and database layers to deliver measurable impact.
- • Design and implement proactive AI agent orchestration layers used by thousands of high-growth Shopify brands to enhance customer shopping experiences.
- • Prototype and iterate on novel human-agent interaction patterns that improve usability, engagement, and conversion rates within Tapcart’s platform.
- • Dogfood Tapcart’s own platform and mobile apps daily to identify pain points, validate assumptions, and drive product improvements from firsthand merchant and shopper usage.
- • Raise the bar for engineering craft by establishing best practices, conducting code reviews, mentoring engineers, and contributing to technical documentation and onboarding.
- • Collaborate directly with the CEO, product designers, and key stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals and merchant needs.
- • Engage regularly with merchants to understand their challenges, gather feedback, and ensure features deliver real value early and iteratively.
- • Own end-to-end delivery of features from prototype to production, with full accountability for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- • Contribute to recruiting efforts by evaluating technical candidates, participating in interviews, and helping build a team of engineers with high standards.
- • Maintain a strong focus on software quality, performance optimization, and clean architecture, ensuring systems remain maintainable as the platform scales to 200M+ shoppers.
- • Leverage AI agents daily in personal and professional workflows, demonstrating deep familiarity with their capabilities, limitations, and real-world applications.
- • Build software that reaches hundreds of millions of users, prioritizing impact and scale over enterprise or forward-deployed solutions.
- • Work in a lean, management-minimal environment where autonomy, ownership, and shipping code are core to the culture.
- • Use Tapcart’s platform as a daily tool to inform product decisions and validate technical direction with live merchant data and user behavior.
