This pivotal role will serve as a key partner to Pharmacy Network Directors and Managers, empowering them with data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making. You will be instrumental in optimizing our pharmacy partnerships, ensuring rigorous compliance with all regulatory requirements, and accurately quantifying the financial performance of our extensive network contracts. Your expertise will directly contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of Rightway's pharmacy network.
- • In this role, you will collaborate closely with Pharmacy Network leadership to develop, maintain, and refine sophisticated analytical models. These models will be crucial for shaping network strategy, guiding pricing decisions, and supporting complex contract negotiations with our pharmacy partners. Your ability to translate intricate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations will be essential for driving successful outcomes.
- • A significant aspect of your responsibility will involve managing all regulatory reporting requirements for the pharmacy network. This includes ensuring the utmost accuracy, adherence to strict timelines, and full compliance across all submitted pharmacy network documentation. Maintaining this high standard of reporting is critical for our operational integrity and legal standing.
- • You will be tasked with meticulously analyzing and quantifying the contractual financial performance of our agreements with pharmacy partners. This involves identifying key trends, uncovering opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement, and pinpointing areas within contracts that require optimization. Your insights will help ensure that our partnerships are mutually beneficial and financially sound.
- • A core function of this position is to oversee and manage the impacts of MAC (Maximum Allowable Cost) pricing and NADAC (National Average Drug Acquisition Cost) data. You will continuously monitor pricing changes in the market and assess their influence on network economics, including potential impacts on guarantees and overall profitability. This requires a keen understanding of pharmaceutical pricing dynamics.
- • You will conduct in-depth pricing modeling and scenario analysis to thoroughly evaluate the financial implications of proposed network changes, contract modifications, and evolving market dynamics. This proactive approach allows us to anticipate challenges and capitalize on opportunities, ensuring our network remains competitive and cost-effective.
- • A vital part of your role will be to respond to a wide range of internal and external inquiries. These inquiries will pertain to pharmacy network performance, intricate pricing structures, and specific contractual terms. Your ability to provide clear, concise, and data-driven insights will be crucial for maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring transparency.
- • You will be responsible for building and implementing scalable analytical frameworks and robust reporting tools. These tools will empower the Pharmacy Network team with the necessary resources to make informed, strategic decisions efficiently and effectively. The goal is to create a self-service environment where data is readily accessible and understandable.
- • Cross-functional collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with teams across Finance, Client Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and Operations to ensure seamless alignment on pharmacy economics and the overall financial performance of our clients. This collaborative effort ensures a holistic view of our business operations.
- • Finally, you will be encouraged to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within pharmacy network analytics and reporting. Enhancing efficiency and accuracy through innovative solutions will be a continuous objective, allowing the team to focus on higher-value strategic initiatives.
