- • As a Sr. Backend Software Engineer at Scribe, you will design and build the backend systems that power core product experiences and next-generation AI capabilities, directly influencing the reliability, performance, and scalability of the platform as it scales to serve millions of users worldwide.
- • You will architect and evolve large-scale data ingestion and processing pipelines, build services supporting AI inference with in-house models, and improve the performance of business-critical systems across the platform, working across Python, Typescript, and Go while deploying and operating reliable systems in AWS.
- • You will join a globally distributed, high-growth team at Scribe, a company used by over 94% of the Fortune 500 and valued at over $1 billion, where exceptional people come to do the best work of their careers by capturing, processing, and scaling knowledge for modern teams.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and performance optimization while taking ownership of critical infrastructure, enabling you to grow as a technical leader and contribute to defining how Scribe scales its backend for the next stage of growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience building backend applications with Python, Typescript, or Go
- • Deep experience designing and operating distributed systems in production environments
- • Experience with message queues, background jobs, and task orchestration tools such as Celery, SQS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka
- • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining microservices
- • Experience optimizing endpoint performance, improving database query efficiency, and troubleshooting bottlenecks in critical systems
