- • As a Sr. Blue Team Analyst at Kraken, you will play a critical role in safeguarding one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges by detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats in a 24x7 global security operations environment.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing security events, acting as a first responder to security incidents, improving and maintaining Blue Team toolsets, developing detection strategies, defining and maturing incident response playbooks, conducting threat hunting for advanced threats, and leading training and mentoring initiatives for fellow analysts.
- • You will join Kraken’s global security team, a mission-driven group of industry pioneers dedicated to securing the digital asset exchange and advancing the company’s vision of global crypto adoption and financial inclusion through strong security practices and innovation.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in detection engineering, incident response, and threat hunting while contributing to the evolution of Kraken’s security posture in the fast-moving crypto threat landscape, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge security challenges in Web3 and blockchain environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as an analyst in security event triage and incident management workflows
- • Strong background in detection engineering, incident response, and threat hunting
- • Experience with monitoring, maintaining, and managing threat detection systems, threat intelligence platforms, SIEM, and security devices
- • In-depth understanding of the cyber threat landscape and advanced adversary tactics
- • Experience with crypto/Web3-related security issues is an advantage
- • Security-relevant experience in AI (LLM)-assisted workflows is an advantage
