  • • As a Senior Director, Regional Accounts at Eli Lilly and Company, you will be instrumental in driving access to life-changing medicines for patients by strategically engaging with key regional employers, their benefits consultants, and coalitions.
  • • This pivotal role operates within the newly established Lilly Employer organization, dedicated to accelerating access to obesity treatments and other critical medications through innovative and traditional models.
  • • Your primary objective will be to increase opt-in rates and utilization of Lilly's offerings by fostering deep relationships with major regional accounts, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both employers and their employees.
  • • You will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with the largest employers in your designated geography, acting as the primary point of contact and a trusted advisor.
  • • This role demands a proactive and collaborative approach, working closely with enterprise partners such as Director of Strategic Accounts (DSA), State and Government Affairs (SGA), Director of Payer Accounts (DPA), and Sales Leaders to present a unified and exceptional front to these crucial customers.
  • • A core aspect of your responsibility will be to deeply understand the unique challenges and opportunities faced by these regional accounts, developing and delivering tailored solutions that improve patient access and align with both customer and Lilly's strategic goals.
  • • You will cultivate extensive expertise in employer health benefits, the intricacies of their support functions, Lilly's diverse medication portfolio and the disease states they treat, and the compelling value story of Lilly's products and resources.
  • • This role requires meticulous preparation and execution for product launches and the introduction of new resource offerings, ensuring maximum impact and successful integration into employer benefit plans.
  • • You will be tasked with establishing and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders within regional accounts, leveraging all available internal Lilly resources to meet their evolving needs, with a particular focus on advancing Lilly's obesity initiatives.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will involve influencing internal and cross-functional teams to develop and refine existing and new tools and resources that directly address critical customer needs and remove barriers to access.
  • • Success in this role will be measured by your ability to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including metrics related to access, utilization, and overall execution goals that demonstrably improve patient and employee outcomes.
  • • You will be expected to maintain a holistic view of the broader enterprise, ensuring that achievements within the employer workstream contribute positively to Lilly's overarching mission.
  • • You will provide essential input and customer insights to Employer Field Leadership, contributing to go-to-market strategies and identifying opportunities for innovation in core capabilities.

  • • This is a remote position with no direct reports, offering a high degree of autonomy and strategic influence.
