• • As a Senior Cloud Architect at Abacus Group LLC, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing sophisticated cloud solutions for a diverse clientele. This role is pivotal in shaping our clients' cloud strategies, ensuring their infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-effective across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• • You will serve as a technical leader and a subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance that influences architectural decisions and drives innovation. Your deep understanding of cloud platforms will be instrumental in guiding clients through complex transformations and ensuring their technology investments align with their overarching business objectives.
• • The core of your responsibility will involve architecting enterprise-grade cloud solutions tailored to meet intricate business requirements. This includes designing architectures that span multiple major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as integrating on-premises infrastructure in hybrid setups.
• • You will lead critical architectural reviews, offering authoritative insights and recommendations to ensure design integrity, performance, and adherence to best practices. This involves a thorough evaluation of proposed designs, identifying potential risks, and guiding the team towards optimal solutions.

• • As a senior member of the team, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and providing technical leadership to junior cloud engineers and architects. You will foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement, sharing your expertise and guiding their professional development.
• • You will act as the primary technical authority during client engagements, building trust and ensuring that our cloud solutions effectively address their unique challenges and strategic goals.
• • Driving the adoption of cloud best practices and emerging technologies across the organization is a key objective. You will stay abreast of the latest advancements in cloud computing and champion their integration where they can provide tangible business value.
• • Architecting multi-region solutions with sophisticated disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) planning will be essential. You will design resilient systems capable of withstanding failures and ensuring minimal downtime for critical applications.
• • Developing and maintaining comprehensive cloud architecture standards, reusable patterns, and governance frameworks will contribute to consistency and efficiency across all client projects.
• • Translating complex business objectives into clear, actionable technical architectures is a fundamental requirement. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring solutions are strategically aligned.

• • You will leverage expert knowledge of multiple major public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud), including advanced networking, compute, security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and cost optimization techniques.
• • Expert technical skills with Windows Server Technologies, including Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions, will be essential.
• • Proficiency with Git and version control in conjunction with Azure DevOps repositories is required for collaborative development.
• • Deep familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, and cloud-native application architectures is expected.
• • An expert understanding of both Windows and Linux environments at an enterprise scale is necessary.
• • You will demonstrate expert understanding of deploying to Azure using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• • Advanced understanding of deploying to Azure using CI/CD processes with complex pipelines will be a key skill.
• • Advanced experience with administering Microsoft Fabric will be utilized.
• • The ability to align cloud solutions to complex business needs and strategic objectives is a core competency.
• • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc., is required for automation and task management.
• • You will possess the ability to read, understand, and optimize complex code and infrastructure configurations.
• • A deep understanding of cloud economics and the ability to optimize costs at an enterprise scale is critical.
• • Expert knowledge of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management principles will be applied daily.
• • You will possess a proven track record designing and implementing complex, enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• • Senior-level certifications in multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AZ-305) are highly valued.
• • Demonstrated experience leading cloud architecture for organizations or major clients is expected.
• • You will have a proven experience with cloud migration strategies and execution at scale.
• • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills are essential for successful client delivery.
