📋 Description

• The Sr Content Marketing Manager at Cengage Learning Holdings II, Inc. develops and executes strategic content programs that drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth, playing a critical role in supporting the company’s mission to help learners discover the power and joy of learning through education technology.
• Day to day, the role involves partnering with content marketers to build comprehensive content strategies, creating and managing high-quality content across formats (blogs, ebooks, videos, case studies), aligning content with product launches and campaigns, collaborating with Demand and Growth teams to support acquisition and retention, optimizing content for SEO and performance, tracking key metrics, and serving as a content thought partner to Product Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Leadership.
• Cengage is a global education technology company serving millions of learners, committed to inclusion, engagement, and discovery, with a strong culture that values diverse perspectives and empowers employees to bring their authentic selves to work through integrated programs and initiatives.
• In this role, the person will develop advanced content strategy skills, gain expertise in B2B SaaS and EdTech marketing, refine cross-functional leadership in matrixed environments, and deepen their ability to measure and optimize content impact on pipeline and customer engagement, positioning them as a strategic growth driver within the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, with preference for marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in content marketing, editorial, publishing, or storytelling roles
• Ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive measurable results
• Sophisticated writing and editing skills with ability to adapt tone across formats and audiences
• Strong understanding of digital content, SEO fundamentals, and content distribution
• Experience partnering cross-functionally in fast-paced, matrixed environments
