  • • Lead the design, implementation, and governance of US Customs special programs, with emphasis on U.S. duty mitigation strategies and duty drawback to drive operational excellence in alignment with GE Aerospace's Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) priorities.
  • • Own and execute the U.S. Customs ACH process as a core duty-payment and control mechanism, ensuring integration with freight-pay, F&A&P, and financial control structures.
  • • Develop and maintain U.S. tariff and duty cost visibility through reporting, trend analysis, and performance metrics; establish and monitor KPIs related to duty spend, savings, compliance, payment timeliness, process effectiveness, and risk reduction.
  • • Partner cross-functionally with Finance (F&A&P), Transportation/Control Tower, Customs, and trade compliance stakeholders to resolve issues and improve process performance; manage key vendors, brokers, and external partners supporting customs special programs and payment processes.
  • • Support high-risk and high-complexity environments including new business integrations, M&A entities, local-model sites, bonded operations, and engine-related customs environments while maintaining alignment with GE Aerospace’s broader trade and logistics risk management framework.
  • • Contribute to the production of advanced jet engines, components, and integrated systems that power commercial and military aircraft, sharing in GE Aerospace’s pride and purpose that affects the lives of millions around the world.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with minimum 4 years of experience in customs trade compliance, or international trade with substantial experience in duty mitigation and US Customs special programs)
  • • Minimum 5 years of experience in customs trade compliance, or international trade with substantial experience in duty mitigation and US Customs special programs
  • • Strong knowledge of CBP regulations
