- • As a Senior Director, Analyst within Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group, you will be at the forefront of shaping supply chain strategy for leading global organizations. You will establish yourself as a credible and authoritative voice in the supply chain market, influencing strategic decisions at local, regional, and global levels.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged "must-have insights" that address complex client challenges and drive business objectives. This involves developing new ideas through rigorous thought leadership and offering compelling, actionable approaches to meet client needs and requests, thereby accelerating their ability to act.
- • You will conduct in-depth analysis to pinpoint the root causes of client barriers or unmet needs, reframing their thinking to propel their supply chain strategy forward. This analytical rigor is crucial for providing clients with the clarity and direction they need to navigate their most critical priorities.
- • A key aspect of this role is demonstrating thought leadership not just individually, but also by establishing and guiding Insights positions across a team of analysts. You will be expected to bring provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders, contributing to the evolution of our research agenda and ensuring Gartner remains at the cutting edge of supply chain thinking.
- • Your role will involve researching, analyzing, and predicting market trends and shifts within the supply chain landscape. This foresight will enable you to provide clients and vendors with actionable intelligence that informs their strategic planning and competitive positioning.
- • You will directly engage with clients and prospects, providing high-value, actionable advice aligned with your designated content area. These interactions will occur through virtual meetings, face-to-face consultations, and support for sales engagements, reinforcing Gartner’s value proposition daily.
- • Crafting and delivering high-impact presentation materials is essential. You will present on stage at Gartner events, industry conferences, professional association meetings, and client briefings, showcasing your expertise and Gartner’s insights.
- • You will actively support the BTI and Sales teams by serving as the "voice of the market." This involves helping Insights teams develop relevant content and driving client engagement to help them achieve their critical business priorities and growth objectives.
- • A commitment to quality is paramount. You will provide high-quality and timely peer review for content produced by other analysts, ensuring the consistent excellence of Gartner’s research output.
- • Building and maintaining credibility as an industry expert is fundamental. You will represent Gartner’s insights, methodology, and strategy effectively in all interactions, solidifying your reputation and Gartner’s standing.
- • Active participation in innovation and ideation sessions is expected. You will collaborate effectively with peers within the Insights community, contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking research environment.
- • You will identify opportunities for research process improvements and develop new processes to enhance team efficiency and service delivery, ensuring Gartner provides excellent service to its clients.
- • As a Senior Director, you will act as a mentor and coach to more junior team members, fostering their development and contributing to the overall growth of the Insights team.
- • A client-centric approach is vital. You will actively seek opportunities to help clients engage regularly and meaningfully with Gartner insights and interactions, ensuring they derive maximum value from their Gartner relationship.
- • This role requires a deep understanding of AI capabilities and their transformative impact on supply chain strategy, segmentation, and customer experience, enabling you to guide clients in leveraging these technologies effectively.
- • You will leverage your expertise in industries where supply chain segmentation is prevalent, such as Industrials (discrete manufacturing), Life Sciences, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and High Tech, to provide tailored and relevant advice.
- • Your ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels will be crucial for building trust and driving adoption of our insights.
