  • • As a Sr. Director Analyst specializing in Talent Management Technology at Gartner, you will be at the forefront of shaping how leading organizations approach their most critical human capital challenges. This pivotal role places you as an industry thought leader, responsible for creating indispensable insights, accurate market predictions, and actionable best practices that empower a diverse clientele of world-leading organizations.
  • • You will operate as a key leader within Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group, establishing and maintaining a credible, authoritative voice within your designated market on local, regional, and global stages. Your exceptional research and analytical acumen will be instrumental in producing pragmatic, provocative, and highly leveraged insights that Gartner clients will consume and apply to strategically propel their businesses toward achieving key objectives.
  • • A core aspect of your role will involve serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You will reinforce Gartner’s unparalleled value daily by engaging with clients through various channels, including in-person meetings, virtual consultations, dedicated sales support visits, and prominent Gartner conferences. In these interactions, you will delve into complex client challenges, offering expert recommendations and strategic guidance.
  • • You will possess a keen, discerning eye for identifying critical gaps, persistent problems, and innovative solutions within the talent management technology landscape. Your deep understanding will enable clients to make more informed decisions, effectively resolve intricate issues, and implement new practices that drive their businesses forward.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will be the publication of these insightful, pragmatic, and often provocative research findings. You will be expected to develop new ideas and insights through dedicated thought leadership, offering compelling, actionable approaches to meet client needs and requests, thereby accelerating their ability to implement change.
  • • You will conduct in-depth analyses to pinpoint the root causes of barriers faced by Chief Human Resource Officers (CHROs) and their peers, reframing existing thinking to drive strategic advancements in talent management.
  • • Demonstrating thought leadership will extend to establishing and championing insight positions across a team of analysts, fostering a cohesive and impactful research agenda.
  • • You will be expected to bring provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders, contributing to the evolution and direction of the research agenda.
  • • Your responsibilities will include researching, analyzing, and predicting market trends and shifts within talent management technology, providing clients and vendors with actionable intelligence.
  • • You will provide clients and prospects with high-quality, timely, and actionable advice aligned to your designated content area through virtual or face-to-face interactions.
  • • Creating and delivering high-value presentation materials will be crucial, both on and off stage at Gartner events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings.
  • • You will actively support the BTI and Sales teams, serving as the voice of the market to help Insights teams craft relevant content and to drive client engagement, ensuring clients make progress against their critical priorities.
  • • Building and maintaining credibility as an industry expert is essential for representing Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy effectively.
  • • Active participation in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, coupled with effective collaboration with peers across the Insights community, will be a hallmark of your contribution.
  • • You will identify opportunities for research process improvements or develop new processes that enhance the team's and BTI's service delivery excellence.
  • • Acting as a mentor and coach to support more junior team members will be an integral part of your leadership role.
  • • Maintaining a client-centric approach while actively seeking to help clients engage regularly and often with Gartner insights and interactions is paramount.
  • • Specifically, your research will focus on talent management technology, encompassing solutions for talent/leadership identification, review, and assessment, alongside performance management, succession planning, feedback mechanisms, employee engagement, competency models, and skills-based talent management. A key focus will be leveraging your experience in implementing AI solutions within these talent management processes to create new research that guides clients in prioritizing and making decisions about their technology, processes, and roles.
  • • You will provide high-quality peer review for research content developed by other Gartner team members, ensuring consistency and excellence across the board.
  • • Travel up to 25% is expected to support client engagements and industry events.
