• • Spearhead the strategic direction and execution of the business intelligence (BI) function for FICO's Software Organization, transforming data into a powerful engine for organizational decision-making.
• • Serve as the visionary leader for BI, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of data analytics, with a particular focus on leveraging AI and enabling self-serve analytics capabilities.
• • Develop and articulate a compelling, forward-thinking vision for the BI ecosystem, ensuring it evolves to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
• • Define and architect the overall structure of the BI environment, including data modeling, key metrics, interactive dashboards, and comprehensive reports, to create a scalable and intuitive user experience for data consumption.
• • Lead the delivery of impactful data solutions designed to uncover strategic opportunities, meticulously monitor critical business performance indicators, diagnose complex issues, quantify the impact of various initiatives, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.
• • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of business intelligence professionals, strategically organized into functional pods to provide dedicated support to all core business units.
• • Cultivate and champion a robust data-driven culture throughout the organization, transitioning the mindset from reactive report pulling to proactive, event-driven insights that alert stakeholders when critical events occur.
• • Manage a diverse portfolio of BI projects spanning across all business units, proactively identifying and communicating resource constraints and providing strategic recommendations for project prioritization.
• • Own both the strategic vision and the execution roadmap for the BI function, guiding its evolution from the current reporting landscape to a sophisticated, intelligent analytics experience that serves the entire Software Organization.
• • Play an instrumental role in empowering all teams to make faster, more informed decisions that directly contribute to revenue growth, enhanced customer satisfaction, improved operational efficiency, and the pursuit of technological excellence.
• • Collaborate closely with executive stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, and Technology to understand their data needs and ensure BI solutions are aligned with strategic business objectives.
• • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics techniques and tools, including AI and machine learning, to unlock deeper insights and predictive capabilities within the business data.
• • Establish and maintain strong data governance practices, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security across all BI platforms and reports.
• • Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance the BI function's capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
• • Act as a key partner to technology teams in the development and maintenance of the underlying data infrastructure, ensuring it can support the evolving demands of the BI function.
• • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations, tailored to the specific needs and understanding of different stakeholder groups.
• • Foster strong cross-functional relationships, building trust and credibility as the go-to expert for data-related insights and strategic guidance.

• • Contribute to the overall strategic planning of the Software Organization by providing data-backed insights and recommendations on market trends, competitive landscape, and internal performance.

• • Develop and manage the budget for the BI function, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
• • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence, data analytics, AI, and machine learning, identifying opportunities for FICO to innovate and lead.
