- • Serve as a thought leader in High Tech Supply Chain, advising Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) on end-to-end supply chain impacts, trends, and transformations.
- • Create innovative, must-have insights and market predictions that clients use to drive strategic business decisions in the High Tech sector.
- • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify root causes of client challenges and reframe thinking to enable strategic advancement.
- • Develop and deliver compelling, actionable content through presentations, briefings, and reports for clients, prospects, and internal teams.
- • Represent Gartner at industry conferences, professional association events, and client meetings to establish credibility and promote insights.
- • Support sales teams by serving as the voice of High Tech CSCOs, helping Insights teams create relevant content and drive client engagement.
- • Lead and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of high-quality research, collaboration, and thought leadership within the BTI group.
- • Drive innovation in research methodology by identifying process improvements that enhance service delivery and content quality.
- • Anticipate emerging disruptions in High Tech supply chains—including consumer devices, semiconductors, telecom, and hyperscalers—and translate them into forward-looking strategic advice.
- • Provide executive-level guidance to senior High Tech leaders, demonstrating credibility and influencing decision-making through data-driven insights.
- • Synthesize complex data and market trends into clear, concise, and persuasive narratives for diverse audiences, from operational teams to C-suite executives.
- • Collaborate across global, multicultural teams to align research agendas and ensure consistency in Gartner’s methodology and strategic messaging.
- • Maintain deep knowledge of the global High Tech supply chain landscape, including competitive dynamics, vendor ecosystems, and interdependent market forces.
- • Deliver high-quality peer reviews of research content to uphold Gartner’s standards for accuracy, insightfulness, and client impact.
- • Travel up to 25% to meet clients, attend conferences, and participate in in-person events where applicable.
- • Act as a client-centric advisor, encouraging regular engagement with Gartner insights to help clients achieve their critical business priorities.
- • Contribute to Gartner’s AI-driven research initiatives by integrating AI and digital transformation insights into supply chain strategy recommendations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred
- • 12+ years of relevant industry experience in High Tech supply chain leadership
- • Leadership experience in supply chain across at least one (preferably multiple) High Tech segments: consumer devices, semiconductor, telecom, or hyperscaler
- • Proven experience defining and executing end-to-end global supply chain transformations
- • Demonstrated ability to anticipate industry trends, challenge conventional thinking, and translate insights into actionable strategies for senior leaders
- • Strong executive presence and credibility with C-suite and senior stakeholders
