- • As an Engagement Manager in Workday’s Higher Education practice, you will lead the deployment lifecycle for Workday product implementations, ensuring successful delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitable project outcomes while managing customer relationships and internal teams.
- • Day to day, you will project manage one or more Workday implementations concurrently, participate in sales cycles to gather requirements and develop proposals, mentor Professional Services resources, ensure proper planning and staffing, manage project performance and risks, resolve issues with client PMs, present at Executive Steering Committee meetings, enforce Workday best practices, liaise between Professional Services and sales/development, identify service expansion opportunities, support customer referenceability, assist in transition to Product Support, manage budgets and change orders, and own project P&L.

- • In this role, you will become a specialist in Workday’s Implementation Methodology and Student Deployment Approach, demonstrate deep competency in the Workday Platform and Student product suites, and achieve full project P&L ownership within 12 months, positioning you as a trusted leader in higher education enterprise transformations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrable experience (6+ years) project managing Medium and/or Large Enterprise ERP solutions, preferably within the Higher Education customer base.
- • Prior consulting experience (6+ years) as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company.
- • Experience implementing (6+ years) Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Ellucian, or a similar application.
- • Working knowledge (4+ years) with at least one of the following: HCM, Financials, or SIS (Student Information System) business areas.
- • Previous experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheets.
- • Ability to travel 50 percent or more of the time.

- • Annualized base salary range of $122,800 USD - $184,200 USD for primary location (Atlanta, GA), with additional US locations ranging from $116,600 USD - $207,200 USD.
- • Eligibility for Workday Bonus Plan or role-specific commission/bonus, plus annual refresh stock grants as part of total compensation.
- • Flexible work approach requiring at least 50% of time each quarter spent in-office or in the field with customers, prospects, or partners, enabling intentional collaboration and personal flexibility.
