📋 Description
- • As a Senior QA Engineer at NETGEAR, you will lead the validation of cutting-edge router and networking products, ensuring protocol compliance, interoperability, and reliability before customer release.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and executing test plans for L3 routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIPv2, Static Routing), validating WAN technologies (PPPoE, DHCP WAN, Static IP, multi-WAN failover), and performing end-to-end testing of Firewall, NAT/PAT, DHCP, and DNS across IPv4 and IPv6 environments.
- • You will work within NETGEAR’s engineering team in Bengaluru, collaborating closely with firmware, software, and hardware teams to define test strategies, drive automation using Python and Robot Framework, conduct packet-level analysis with Wireshark and tcpdump, and mentor junior QA engineers.

🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of relevant work experience in QA or networking validation
- • Hands-on experience with IPv6 addressing, DHCPv6, SLAAC, and dual-stack environments
- • Experience driving test automation using Python, Robot Framework, or equivalent frameworks
- • Proficiency in packet-level analysis using Wireshark and tcpdump
- • Experience with interoperability testing in multi-vendor networking environments
- • Familiarity with VPN technologies (IPSec, OpenVPN, WireGuard) or VLAN and L2 protocols
