  • • The Sr. Event Content Manager at Databricks will report to the Director, Event Marketing and guide the session content workstream for corporate events including Data + AI Summit, ensuring the delivery of first-class, valuable, engaging, and high-impact session content with a strong focus on operational excellence to achieve scalability.
  • • Day to day, the person will drive the strategy and delivery of high-quality session content experiences, analyze content consumption and conversion to inform content strategy, collaborate with Product Marketing, Dev Rel, Partner Marketing, and Industry Marketing stakeholders, oversee content operations including call for presentations, speaker/session selection, scheduling, and track management, collaborate on event marcom and promotional communications, work with logistics, AV, and infrastructure teams on session room requirements and AV needs, partner with event tech teams for implementation and management of content tools, oversee operational support for content specialist contractors and vendors, create reports sharing key findings throughout content development and post-event cycles, and develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

  • • In this role, the person can learn and achieve mastery in scaling event content operations for high-impact corporate events, develop strategic content strategies aligned with business goals, gain deep expertise in managing global stakeholder collaboration and complex project workflows, and build leadership experience in driving operational excellence and innovation in event technology and content engagement methods.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of experience in event content management
  • • Knowledge of event content pillars and best practices
  • • Efficient project management skills to build cohesive plans and create agreement across groups
  • • Strategic mindset relying on data to drive strategy and proactively make recommendations on vision and strategy
  • • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across the globe
  • • Deep understanding of the process and tools for content management, including the ability to learn new tools and processes
  • • Comfortable presenting on complex workstreams but able to simplify for an executive audience
  • • Experience with Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Asana, Tableau, Marketo, Rainfocus, Swoogo, etc.
