📋 Description
- • The Sr. Federal Project Manager leads the implementation of mission-critical communication system projects for Federal Civil & Law Enforcement customers, acting as the primary leader and focal point for assigned projects.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading large or complex project portions, directing and coordinating project team activities, managing project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, utilizing PM tools for critical path analysis, risk assessment, and change order management, allocating resources to meet objectives, conducting project reviews with customer and senior stakeholders, and ensuring overall financial health of projects.
- • Motorola Solutions is a global leader in professional mobile communications systems, dedicated to building technologies that protect people, property, and places, with a mission to help keep communities safer through innovation in mission-critical communications for public safety and federal clients.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in federal project execution, strengthen leadership and stakeholder management skills, gain deep experience in public safety and communications infrastructure projects, and achieve mastery in PMBOK methodologies while contributing to national safety initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of project/program management or similar business experience, OR 10+ years of project/program management or similar business experience
- • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract
- • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer work permit sponsorship is not available
- • Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction, Logistics, Telecommunications, or IT Networks
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint & Project); PMP highly desired, PM Masters Certificate a plus, CAPM also considered
